Back in Hong Kong
Got back only yesterday and still feel like a zombie! I swear, jetlag is a bitch.
Just moved into a serviced apartment building (used to be an hotel, but like a lot of hotels in Hong Kong, it was cheaper for it to stop renting out rooms and just have flats instead). It's basically a furnished little room with a little kitchenette and a bathroom. House rule #9: "Noisiness, DURIAN or rich smells cooking in room are strictly prohibited!".
It's a bit like the place I used to live in in Strasbourg, only much more posh, plus broadband internet access and a TV. Hmm.
The area is North Point, which is on the north edge of HK island, duh. It's actually quite nice, and there are lots of open-air Chinese butchers, which means I have to be careful not to walk face first into raw pieces of meat hanging on strings..
I should really be reading in preparation for the internship on Tuesday, but I'm so groggy all I want to do is sleep. Urg.
